Born in Nairobi on 21 December 2004, Ryan Ogam began his football journey in youth teams such as Galaxy FC and Sunrise FC before moving into senior football. 

His career‑changing move came when he joined Tusker FC at the start of the 2024/25 season. Originally a midfielder, Tusker’s coach Charles Okere deployed Ogam as a striker — a gamble that paid off with an outstanding 15 goals in 17 FKF Premier League appearances

His domestic breakthrough and impressive performances for the national team, Harambee Stars, especially in the African Nations Championship 2024 where he scored against both Morocco and Zambia, drew the attention of European scouts. 

In September 2025, Ogam sealed a transfer to Austrian Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC, marking a milestone for Kenyan football and for Ogam personally.
